Postdoctoral Fellow

Saint Louis University School of Medicine
St. Louis, Missouri

Saint Louis University, dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking applicants for two Postdoctoral Fellows in Dr. Jianguo Liu’s lab in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Molecular Microbiology and Immunology.

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a leading health problem worldwide. The lack of highly effective preventive vaccine, the emergence of drug-resistant strains, and an epidemic in HIV patients make TB a worsening threat. Host-directed therapy (HDT) is a promising approach for treating drug-resistant TB. These NIH-funded positions are to investigate the host protective immune mechanisms and develop new HDT against Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection.

Postdoctoral positions are available immediately for researchers (Ph.D., D.V.M. or M.D.) with strong background in molecular biology and immunology.

These positions are full-time appointment with all benefits provided by SLU. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.

For details, please contact Jianguo Liu at jianguo.liu@health.slu.edu.
